Ahhh trance… It’s got the unce unce unce, it’s got the flowing synth, and it’s got the clear vocal chorus with hilariously cheesy lyrics. Good trance is pretty much the equivalent of a techno anthem: catchy danceable beats with lyrics you can sing along to.

Whenever you hear techno in a movie club scene they’re almost always playing European trance. The Germans, Swedes and Dutch have the best stuff and that’s where most of the popular trance DJs come from. A lot of techno fanatics shy away from trance simply because it’s so poppy and catchy, but I love every bit of it.
