Skrillex and Paper Diamond in concert

So this Sunday I finally got a chance to see Skrillex live! I had a total blast and actually got to meet up with friends in the huge crowd. There were three openers which I thought was a little much especially since they were all heavy dubstep (except Paper Diamond). The first wasn't too interesting, just a local dubstep DJ. Next was The Juggernaut, check him out at HIS SOUNDCLOUD.

Next was Paper Diamond who I am a huge fan of. He was pretty out of place though. The EQ for the sound system was so bass heavy that most of his material couldn't even be heard. For those of you who were at the concert but couldn't hear anything, here are some of my favorite songs by Paper Diamond:

And finally Skrillex! I was really glad that Skrillex mixed live instead of just playing songs from his albums/EPs. There was a lot of new material too, mostly from his new EP release MORE MONSTERS AND SPRITES. The EP droped today so be sure to hit up Beatport and download it! The energy of the concert was great. Pogo-ing along with everyone every time we heard JUMP! in "Reptile" was so much fun.
